Is Self-Regulation Effective?

Since the unhampered free market is what optimizes the flow of knowledge, part of that knowledge is related to how to improve social cooperation which then leads to a positive evolution of ethics. And as ethics advances, the strength and universality of self-regulation becomes better and better.

That is why the ultimate objective needs to be to educate the people of the world about the divine economy theory since it proves scientifically that the unhampered free market optimizes the flow of knowledge.

The Entrepreneurial Spirit Drives The Market!

The market is an expression of the human actors (it is the universal language and prices are the words) and all humans exercise some degree of the entrepreneurial spirit.

The magnificent thing about the market is that it communicates intent and has content. When the medium of exchange is the one that is chosen by the market (ex. commodity monies since the beginning of human history) then it is indeed true that the words (prices) are universal also.

Humans are seekers after truth, but in varying degrees and at various times, and some even are mostly latent but this condition of latency is amplified and stretched out by the denigration of the spirit caused by the propaganda of the State. Releasing the entrepreneurial spirit is one of the tremendous powers of the market.

At the same time it is the entrepreneurial spirit that drives the market!!!

Why Is Socialism Contrary To Natural Law?

The simple answer is: Because humans are subjective!

Natural law defines the characteristics that are inherent and specific to a particular entity. Humans are subjective with each one possessing a unique array of personality traits and life experiences and perceptions and judgments.

The ‘one size fits all’ coercion of socialism is unnatural and antithetical to the human reality.

What Is Capital?

Capital is about the interaction of humans with time. The human potential is very great and when an effort is made to explore and discover and nurture that potential by making some immediate sacrifice then capital is part of that human endeavor.

It is a natural and vital part of the human operating system.

Always – New Capital Is A Good Start!

In an economy that is undeveloped (although this principle operates as well in advanced economies) the first steps taken should be to encourage and nurture capital. Unprotected property rights are very often the reason people do not save. Any steps that secure property rights and foster trustworthiness lead to the emergence of new capital. New capital advances productivity and then the development process begins.

Divine Economy Theory Policy #9: New Capital Is A Good Start

Recognize that having secure property rights leads to savings and then to new capital which then begins the advancement towards prosperity.

Counteract The Misinformation About Capital.

There is a very difficult educational task ahead to counteract the institutionalized prejudice against capitalism. Capital has been maligned and misunderstood for so long that most people feel that capital is not really a part of themselves — that it is outside of themselves. One goal of the educator will be to help people to see that every choice or act to improve oneself is capital in process and capital made manifest. And the improvement made is then an advancement and the starting point for the next step.

Appreciation of capital, when seen as honoring one’s own progress, will go a long way towards reversing the poisonous bigotry directed at capital which permeates the world today.  The anti-capitalist mentality is a malady emanating from Marxism, socialism and much of empirical economics. It stems from a combination of atheism and the adherence to an incorrect methodology for the social sciences, and it leads to a removal of capital from its proper place in the human psyche. Our inherent nature — when it is properly educated — declares capital to be a vital part of the human operating system.

Divine Economy Theory Policy #8:  Counteract the Misinformation About Capital

Encourage providers of education to recognize that every improvement an individual makes — their education, for example — is a form of capital. Then instead of spreading negative impressions about capital the education system will compliment itself for being a contributor to capital formation around the world and will empower the next generation with knowledge about this factor — capital. This is a significant contribution to an ever-advancing civilization since capital is the most limiting factor in the economy.

The Intended Condition Of The Human Spirit And The Economy.

There is a difference between free market economics and the divine economy theory although both fit within classical liberalism. In free market economics there is recognition of the tendency towards equilibrium. In the divine economy theory that tendency has to do with the refined definition of the ontology of the natural law as it pertains to human beings. Human beings are not only physically and intellectually human but another aspect of their uniqueness is that they are spiritual.

This aspect of their created nature opens new vistas about the significance of the tendency towards equilibrium. Humans are not perfect but the acquisition of perfections is continually ongoing. This condition of imperfection and the state of disequilibrium are parallel, and so too, the perpetual advancement of civilization associated with the tendency towards equilibrium parallels the ever-unfolding possibilities of human perfections.

There is a mirroring quality between the human spirit and the unhampered market economy. It is the natural and intended condition of both the human spirit (via liberty and justice) and the economy (via the market process) to be unhampered (uncorrupted by ego-driven interventionism). Glory be to laissez-faire and to its moral justification – the economy is divine.
